Afterwards you will meet with a bhikkuni who will describe the ordained life. This is ideal for those wanting to learn about the core principles of Buddhism and its history.

Experience Overview

The monastery that will feature the tour is exclusively a monastery for Buddhist nuns. As such they have similarities and differences to Buddhist monks. You will be able to take a leisurely stroll in the large gardens and listen to your knowledgeable guide and have him translate your questions to a nun or to the host, who is well-versed in the topic. Since you will have some time for that particular interview, it is advised to prepare some questions beforehand if you want to understand the origins of Buddhism in depth.
