Sister property of The Last House and Kandy House, under Manor House Concepts, Coco Tangalla is a six-bedroom boutique hotel overlooking the turquoise blue waters of the Indian Ocean from a rocky precipice. Offering individually-designed rooms, the hotel is located on two separate elevations with an infinity pool and a well-maintained garden on a lower level.
The interior of Coco Tangalla exudes a soothing color palate and showcases eclectic décor from modern to Dutch-period furniture, complimenting the landscape of the area. Coco Tangalla can be booked by the room or in its entirety and can accommodate up to 12 guests.

The six air-conditioned rooms at Coco Tangalla are individually-designed with different color tones and have ensuite bathrooms. The Main House has three double rooms and one twin room. An adjacent annex has two rooms, which interconnect by a short passageway. The larger of these two, opens to a private terrace with views of the ocean and the second room which is a twin has a partly outdoor bathroom.

The chefs at Coco Tangalla are skilled in a variety of cuisines including Sri Lankan, Indian, Thai, Western and Chinese. They use fresh produce and seafood sourced from the local market and fishermen nearby to ensure guests have a memorable food experience. Breakfast at Coco Tangalle involves a combination of fresh fruit juices, eggs made to your choice, pancakes, cereal and some delicious Sri Lankan dishes, complimented with Sri Lanka’s finest teas or coffee. Lunches comprise of two courses from a selection of soups, pasta, vegetarian dishes, or a variety of seafood and other salads, followed by a mouth-watering dessert. Dinner is a three-course affair which might have crab, lobster, seer fish, tuna or mullet, all prepared to the finest of standards.
