Mount Havana is a boutique eco villa located at the top of a steep hill off Gampola’s main road which commands a stunning view of Knuckles Mountain Range and Adam’s Peak which, on a cloudless night during the season, is illuminated as pilgrims and hikers attempt the ascent at night. The villa is nestled on a 28-acre estate where a herd of Jersey cows graze and tea, timber and spices are grown – the production of vegetables, coffee and other ingredients means that Mount Havana is almost completely self-sufficient. The villa’s interiors are furnished with polished cement, rich, dark timber and contemporary artwork giving a minimalist yet luxurious overall feel. Mount Havana has five rooms and a front terrace which opens out to a swimming pool.

The three Luxury Rooms comes with queen size bed with private terraces with mountain views & garden for some rooms. Luxury room’s bathrooms are spacious and have bath tubs and h/w showers along with shaving mirrors for each room. Even guest can have the meals at the room terrace

The Mountain View Suite opens on to a private terrace with mountain views and is furnished with a king-sized bed. The Garden View Suite opens out to a terrace & to a private garden and doesn’t have mountain views. Guest can have the meals at the room terrace or at the private garden. This suite is furnished with two king-size beds that can sleep four guests and is ideal for a family. Ensuite bathrooms are spacious and have bath tubs and h/w showers along with shaving mirrors and rain showers.

You can eat at the large, formal dining table or at the more intimate collection of tables just beyond, or even on your room’s private balcony. Both international and local cuisine is served. The villa does not serve alcohol but guests are welcome to bring their own.
