Mirissa
BackMirissa is a vibrant beach town on Sri Lanka’s south coast that is well known as a prime spot for whale and dolphin watching between December and March, where you can see many acrobatic spinner dolphins and the mighty blue whale. This town’s youthful energy, lively and beautiful bay and great position between historic Galle and the secluded beaches of Tangalle have led to Mirissa becoming one of the most popular Sri Lanka destinations for holidaymakers. Mirissa is also a fantastic place to do water-sports, from surfing and snorkeling to sailing on a private catamaran.
