Housekeeper Kumara is an excellent chef and a wonderful host: having trained at The Sun House and Dutch House in Galle, he can cook a wide range of scrumptious dishes ranging from sensational salads to succulent seafood, fresh fish, delicious soups and tempting desserts. Choose daily from the menu and Kumara will shop and prepare the meals for you. Upon arrival, guests must present Kumara with a float and he will present the receipts to you on his return (or at the end of your stay). Kumara has a couple of nights off per week – you can either cook for yourself using the ingredients he has purchased for you, or explore the vast range of eateries in Unawatuna and Galle Fort. Wijaya Beach, a delightful café, is just a five-minute stroll away. Wine is available, and guests are invited to bring their own alcoholic beverages.
